Take a photo tour of the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa
The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa was the first resort in Hawaii to grace the shore of Ka'anapali, and it still might be the best.
Almost all of the 508 rooms and suites at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa face the Pacific Ocean, and each room has a private lanai to check out the breathtaking view. Inside, the guest rooms feature the craftsmanship of old Hawaii, such as lamps of bamboo design, but are loaded with modern conveniences, including high-speed internet access and flat-screen TVs.
You likely won't want to spend too much time in your room, though. At the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, you can enjoy a dip in the 142-yard freshwater swimming lagoon and whirlpool. The resort also has three lighted tennis courts, a fitness center and poolside concierge. The kids can learn how to play ukulele, take poi ball lessons or even learn how to dance hula.
After your workout, there are plenty of places to eat at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Keka'a Terrace is a fine choice for casual dining, while Black Rock Steak & Seafood would be a good selection for contemporary dining. Enjoy cocktails at the Mai Tai Bar or Cliff Dive Bar, especially at Happy Hour. But nothing beats a good luau, which Sheraton Maui hosts on Mondays and Wednesdays. And nothing beats Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, which seems to get better with age.
