Francis H. I'i Brown South Course at Mauna Lani Resort
KOHALA COAST, Hawaii - A stunning resort golf layout, the Francis H. I'i Brown South Course at the Mauna Lani Resort is a golf course where you'll not only want to bring your clubs, but your camera as well.
The 6,924-yard, par-72 golf course was built along an ancient black lava flow, which brings out the striking color of the paspallum fairways and greens as well as the Pacific Ocean, which can be seen from many holes.
The 15th, a par 3 that jets into the deep blue ocean, is the signature hole, but there are also impressive views from the par-3 seventh and par-4 13th, which are also cut along the Pacific.
The resort hosted the Senior Skins Game from 1990-2000, as the original 18 was split in two as 18 new holes were built to form what is now known as the South and North Courses.
